This mask party is brought to you in part by Wednesday nights and a mini hangover. I really needed a vacuum to blast the gunk out of my pores and I wanted a fun hydrating mask to keep everything in check.
Okay so to start I exfoliated with my Aesop Purifying Facial Exfoliant Paste which of course left my face soft and clean. I decided to jump on the peel off band wagon and dug out my boscia Luminizing Black Mask. Turns out mine is likely expired because even with a thick layer on my face it dried down with tiny holes instead of grabbing the gunk in my pores. Even when I used this guy in the past it never really did it for me, so maybe it's time I grab a new one so I can give it a fighting chance. I followed with a new honey mask from papa recipe, which I am officially obsessed with.
- apply to clean dry skin
- hang out for 20-30 minutes
- I did a solid 30 minutes
- massage in extra serum
- if needed moisturize.
- I did my luna oil and the pixi sleep cream moisturizer
Manuka honey for deep hydration
propolis for nourishment
also helps to tighten pores
- apply a hefty opaque layer to clean dry skin, avoiding all hair
- let dry 20 minutes
- I had to wait about 30 and still had a wet spot
- peel off gently
- oggle at goop stuck to mask
- I did not get to enjoy this step :(
- follow with a good moisturizer
charcoal to detoxify
Calcium Montmorillonite Clay to gently exfoliate and purify
vitamin c, antioxidants for brightening and antiaging
rosemary leaf extract for firming and pore reduction
enjoy these photos of me wearing the luminizing black mask and my face the next morning pre coffee.
