Multi-Mask Mania!!

Come one, Come all, come see who wins it all! Will it be the zits or the mask menagerie assembled below!

Alright y'all this lovely Tuesday evening has turned into a full blown recovery mission spa night. 1/2 pint of ice cream, 45 minutes of Game of Thrones, a hot lush filled bubble bath and 3 face masks later I am feeling much better.

Mother nature decided to bring me mega cramps and zits the size of planets developing faster than the mold on my chinese leftovers. I decided to take it easy and have a steamy bath to open up pores because my tub was actually clean for the first time this year. Not pictured is the Aesop Quartz Purifying Facial Exfoliant Paste I used in the shower while belting it out to RuPaul. Time for the mask breakdown.

In corner number one and our starting detoxifyer we have the boscia Charcoal Pore Pudding Wash-off treatment! This bad boy blends black and white charcoal to pull the toxins from your skin without over drying. The binchotan white charcoal helps keep the skin soft and hydrated and the Kaolin clay boosts the efficacy of the black and white charcoal. All skin types are a fan including those on the dry sensitive side.

For round two detox comes the heavy hitter, the Dr. Jart Micro Jet clearing solution sheet mask! Using ingredients like tea tree, salicylic acid, niacinamide it gently clarifies and balances while the Glutathione helps to brighten and even out skin tone. This dude can stop any breakout in its tracks. The soft cloth lays nicely on the face, and the eye holes aren't super janky. Perfect for the sensitive acne prone face but is a little on the drying side so I recommended you follow with some good hydration.

Which brings us to our final contender, The Papa Recipe Bombee Rose Gold Honey Mask Pack. Get ready to soothe away your troubles. This 24K gold infused mask is full of Manuka honey and here to rescue you. The inside is covered in a dope gold honeycomb pattern and the super soft sheet sticks to your face like honey on a cheerio. With a recommended time of 20-30 minutes this mask is great to wear during an episode of Bob's Burgers or while reading a good book. The honey locks moisture deep into the skin while the gold soothes and acts as a delivery system for the delicious hydration.

Once these three masks duked it out on my face I was feeling fresh and womanly. I topped everything off with my Luna sleeping oil, more serum from the papa recipe mask packet and Caudalie Vinosource Riche moisturizer. I then piled on the pink Mario Badescu with a whisper and a prayer that these mountainous zits will subside.

And the Champion?!

The winner is the masks!! Both mountains were reduced to molehills that were almost totally flat with no surrounding irritaiton, meaning concealer can officially do its job.
